Kapizox ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Kapizox mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"). Please read this policy carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register, create a profile, or use our services:

• Account Information — Full name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, and password
• Profile Information — City, profile photo, bio, and role (creator or client)
• Creator Information — Portfolio photos, cover images, service areas, specialties, languages, experience, social media links (Instagram, YouTube, website)
• Booking Information — Event date, event type, event location, time preferences, and special requirements
• Reviews & Feedback — Ratings and written reviews you submit about creators
• Communications — Any messages or support requests you send to us

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

• Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
• App usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration)
• Log data (IP address, access times, error reports)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your creator profile to potential clients
• Facilitate bookings between clients and creators
• Send booking confirmations and status updates
• Enable the review and rating system
• Rank creators in discovery based on location and ratings
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve and develop the Platform
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With other users — Creator profiles (name, photo, portfolio, location, reviews) are visible to clients on the Platform. Client names and reviews are visible to creators.
• With service providers — We use third-party providers to operate the Platform, including Supabase (database), Cloudinary (image storage), and Cloudflare (CDN and hosting). These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf.
• For legal reasons — We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Kapizox, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — If Kapizox is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Photos and Portfolio Content

Photos and portfolio content you upload are stored securely on Cloudinary and delivered via our Cloudflare CDN at images.kapizox.com. Your portfolio photos are publicly visible to all users of the Platform. When you delete a photo from the Platform, it is also permanently deleted from our storage systems.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be anonymised and your public profile will be removed. Booking records may be retained for a limited period for legal and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security policies on our database, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Kapizox is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Instagram or YouTube profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
